1900,
Soo Sik Pai, Chinese four suited chess cards. 4 suits of 14 cards, coloured panels on white. Reverse typical 19thC small pattern. 56/56 with wrapper bearing ‘TOKO HOO HAY HOO SOERABAYA’ and picture of Portuguese dragon. Mint

Goodal,
1910
Standard English, 2 indices, anonymous AS, red and blue and black printing only, ‘Pasha’ brand. Reverse: Stylised floral pattern in blue on white. 52+J with the box but missing end flaps. VF+, (One card - 3S - slight staining to back and top left index on front.)

De La Rue,1920
Superior Playing Cards as stated on the box but they are of a lower quality than DLR's pneumatic cards for example. Uncoated paper, printing in red and black only with fine red dots to give a pink tinge to the courts' faces. Blue floral reverse. Good condition box stating card makers to His Majesty King George V. Complete set of 52 cards. Used VF with a few light stains but no damage.

Willner Czechoslovakia,1920
Owl No 114 A very fine printing and good quality card from the Willner Brothers of Teplitz-Schoenau. Thin card with standard English court designs, 4 indices, trade mark on Ace of Hearts along with a tax stamp - difficult to read any part of the stamp but I think it has the maker's name around the ring and a tax value in the centre. Very delicate and attractive Ace of Spades. A lovely item. 52 + ornate title card and original box. Cards are EF with good box.

Piatnik, 1950
Standard English Canasta set two packs of cards with jokers and the original box which acts as a tray and instruction leaflet. Box exterior a bit damaged and grubby, but cards are in very good crisp condition, probably unused. VF+ The back design and colour is the same on both packs. 2 x 52 + 6 jokers.
