i thing her designs work best, when she subtly uses illustration with he type. such as the designs shown below as she creates a sence of movement and individuality to the designs and still keeps the original letter form (which in some cases is adjusted to fit the design) she create alot of character in her work.

on the other hand also uses type and illustration, he uses more line work which are extensions from an existing typeface, his style turns the type more illustrative
