ANTHONY BURRILL-type as image

Anthony burrill has designed these posters useing letter press even though the posters are made up of letter forms, it can still be classed as 'type as image'. this is because he has used techniques such as kerning to subtly manipulate the words so that the phrases read in a certain way and also create a nice composition. he has also used two type faces on some of the posters, this adds more character to the words and it is also interesting to see the difference in the design when a condensed typeface is used along side a bold serif typeface the point size has also been change through out so that there is a hierarchy of information.
