OCCASIONS- CRIT TWO

the general comments in the progress crits for the occasions brief, were that i should try more variations useing different type faces. i will do this before the next crit, however i have purposely chosen the typeface 'universe std' as it has many different weights which also includes a range of condensed weights. this makes it easier to create a hierarchy of information. the typeface is also appropriate for the range of cards as it is neither informal or informal it has a nice balance, it is also bold and has alot of impact.

the crit with Wendy, also left me with a more informed approach, as to what i should do next.
i will be extending the 'worlds...dad' cards into a wider range. which will include bags and wrapping paper. i will exclude 'the king of the castle' theme from this set of cards. as it is overcomplicated the idea. so 'the worlds...dad' cards will be a range for a more higher end of card shop such as Clinton's and paperchase.

i will keep the king of the castle theme running also, however this will be with a different set of cards, which will evolve around a pub theme. this set will be for a lower end of the ,market and will be sold at shops such as tessco. there for it will give me a chance to be more informal and add a bit of tongue and cheek.
