Legendry Creatures is an interseting theme to base the playing cards on, however the theme is very varied. therefore each of the creatures has a story of its own, therefore it will be hard to group them together so they work as a successful set, it may over complicate the designs.

this theme may work better for a set of tarot cards, as each creature will have seperate connotations which will fit in with the individual functions of the cards within a tarot pack. were as it will be to complex in terms of narrative and taxonomy for a set of playing cards.
