this is annoying as my theme is also based on mythology, i have also researched into Norse mythology, this deck of cards has major influences from that myth.
however this deck of cards is very different to the style and the characters i will be using for my cards. my concept will use four different mythologies, one for each suit.
I will continue to use the characters which i have selected so far as they are different to the gods used in this deck, for example i will be using the God 'THOR' which has not been used by this designer, i will also be using a character for all the Aces. my style of type and imagery and colour will also be considerably different.
the similarities however are that i have decided to use 'ODINN', this designer has also used this god, i will use a different suit to that of these card designs.
i had also Planned to use 'LOKI' as one of my Joker cards however it has been used here, this again is annoying as he is the perfect joker card in terms of characteristics, i will see how i can work around this within my designs.
