OCCASIONS- CARD RESEARCH

Clinton cards/ marks and spenser /John Lewis

are the upper end of the card market, they use a range of considered stocks. they use different print techniques such as foiling embossing. these card shows have a wide range of people who buy cards from them. so they have boundrys, however the cards are more costy but more Craft and materials have been put into making them, so they are more classy. they also have cheaper ranges however the majority of the ranges are more expensive.






Hallmark
are at the cheaper end of the market, there cards usely consist of digitally printed designs on glossy or matt stock, they are usely the designs range from illustration/ type/ photographs, however they don't really use a lot of print techniques.



Paper chase
is also a fairly expensive card suppler, they also sell products which have been crafted with considered stocks and print process's, the designs they produce often appeal to a younger age range such as 15-30. they also sell cards which have been produced in small amounts by up and coming designers and students. they would also be classed as an upper end of the market.
